Home Physiotherapy & Lymphoedema Services
We provide specialised physiotherapy and lymphoedema care in the comfort of your own home for people who may find it difficult to attend our clinic.
Our experienced physiotherapist, Christine, provides individualised assessment and treatment based on your needs, health conditions and personal goals.
Our home services include:
❋ Lymphoedema assessment and management
Individualised assessment of your lymphatic system, swelling and functional needs, with a
personalised management plan to help control lymphoedema and support your independence.
❋ Compression garment prescription and fitting
Assessment, measurement and fitting of both ready-to-wear and custom-made compression
garments, selected specifically for your individual needs.
❋ Pneumatic mechanical compression pump
Where appropriate, a mechanical compression pump can be incorporated into your treatment and
home management program. We have a device which Christine can trial with you.
❋ Physiotherapy, strength and balance
Physiotherapy can address reduced strength, balance, mobility and physical function, with an
individualised exercise program designed around your abilities and goals.
❋ Support worker and carer training
We can provide practical training to support workers, family members and carers to assist with your
lymphoedema management, compression garments, exercise program and ongoing care.
❋ Communication and coordinated care
An initial physiotherapy report can be provided to your treating doctor, with progress reports as
required. Where applicable, we also communicate with your NDIS or Support at Home provider to help
ensure your care is coordinated across your healthcare and support team.
Our aim is to provide practical, individualised care that helps you manage your lymphoedema, maintain your mobility and function, and remain as independent as possible in your own home.

To access a GP Chronic Condition Management Plan, your eligibility and plan is organised through your GP. As of 1st July 2026, under the plan you receive a Medicare rebate of $63.40 for each session, for up to 5 treatment sessions in one calendar year. You can claim this rebate on the spot via our Tyro machine. Please email your plan to info@physioliving.com.au or bring a copy with you. Please note that a payment gap will still be applicable for your appointment, as the plan does not cover the full appointment cost.

If you cancel with less than 24 hours-notice, or do not attend a booked appointment a cancellation fee of 50% is subject to apply.
-
We recommend you contact your health fund to check how much you will get back for each session. Health funds vary and the rebate also depends on the level of “extras” cover you hold. Some health funds provide greater rebates if you are receiving a Lymphoedema Consultation. Please bring your health fund card with you to claim on the spot via our Tyro machine.
-
The cost of compression garments varies widely. We will work with you to achieve a suitable option that is affordable. Many health funds will rebate for compression garments within a certain limit, so we advise you check with your health fund. We can then provide you with a letter of support to assist with your claim.
Our practitioners have certification to apply on your behalf to the government funding scheme for compression garments called Enable. We will discuss with you your eligibility and processes involved.
