Do I need a referral?

You do not require a referral from your doctor unless you are being treated under the Department of Veterans’ Affairs scheme.

Can I claim through medicare?

If you would like to access a Chronic Disease Management Scheme, your eligibility and plan is organised through your GP. Under the plan you can receive a rebate of $54.60 for each session, up to 5 treatment sessions in one year.

You can claim your $54.60 rebate at your appointment via HICAPS.

What are the private health funds rebates?

We recommend you contact your health fund to check how much you will get back for each session. Health funds vary and the rebate also depends on the level of “extras” cover you hold. Some health funds provide greater rebates if you are receiving a Lymphoedema Consultation. Please bring your health fund card with you to claim on the spot via HICAPS.

Is there parking available?

Yes parking is free of charge underneath the building.  The boom gate will lift up on entry. Parking is available under those parks with “Hunter ENT” signage.
